Second French Leader 2007-2013 cooperation event
«Cooperation, onwards and upwards!»
The French national network is glad to invite you to the second national cooperation Fair which will take place on 8 & 9 November in Montbrison, South East of France (1.30 hour from Lyon).
Whatever the ambitions may be for cooperation (involve local actors, move ahead with your project or prepare the future), this event is made to help French and European actors share their experience and expectations to move their cooperation project and cooperation in their area onwards and upwards!
The whole event is organized in order for each participant to have his tailor made programme, choosing from a rich menu: workshops linked either to themes or to cooperation methods and tools, meeting with new partners from France and from other Member States (notably using the thematic speed dating sessions), finding the technical assistance and support which they need, discovering local actors…
Some sessions will also enable to exchange and reflect on the future of cooperation and the place for cooperation in the future local development strategies.
Each participating national rural network will be able to display information on the implementation of cooperation in his Member State on a ‘country stand’ which will be opened to French and non-French actors looking for specific information in a country.
All formal sessions and most of the workshops will be translated from and to English and specific people (from potential partner LAGs, from the French regional networks, from the national network support unit, …) will be available for each and every non-French speaking participant to bring language and technical support during the whole event.
Cooperation rendezvous will be organized in order to bring together actors from different countries around similar cooperation ideas. This will be a great opportunity for LAGs from your Member State to identify the partner they have been looking for for a long time!
Please do forward the information about this event to your LAGs. We would be glad to welcome some of them to this event and to assist them in the organisation of their participation and of their stay.
Furthermore, we would also be glad to present some examples, ideas and projects implemented in your Member State during several of the sessions. If you have any suggestions of experiences which could be put forward, please send us information. The main issues which will be covered during the seminar are the following: cooperation and agriculture / farming (including short circuits); cooperation and young people; cooperation and energetic transition; cooperation as a tool for the development or a local area; cooperation, social inclusion and discrimination; cooperation and economic development; how to define a common cooperation action; etc.
